Perfect for the LUMiLiFE range. The LED Transformer Driver is used to power low voltage 12v LED bulbs and strip lighting. LED bulbs require a constant voltage to work properly. Sometimes a normal 12v transformer will work correctly with LED bulbs, but in some cases the lifespan of the bulb will be reduced. What transformer do I need. You need a transformer that can power the total wattage of the strip or bulbs being used. For example, if you plan have 2x 5W MR16 LED bulbs that total 10W, you would be recommended a 20W transformer. 20% of the transformer capacity needs to be left over to prevent overloading. Please contact us for advice or assistance if unsure how to proceed. 3 year LUMiLiFE warranty. On selected LUMiLiFE products, we offer an automatic 3 year warranty. This entitles you to unlimited replacements from the original purchase throughout the warranty period. If your original purchase is no longer available, a new replacement with the latest equivalent model will be offered. Product dimensions. Height 45mm Width 139mm Depth 28mm

"I bought this to replace my Fluval A3991D LED Power Supply that i'd managed to break. A genuine Fluval replacement item was going to cost me over £70!!! This worked straight out of the box & no modification was needed for it work with my aquarium light. As it has saved me a small fortune I given it 5 star rating & wouldn't hesitate to another

    5 Star Rating Does It.
By: Percy Ants, on November 1, 2018
    Pros:
    Cons:

"I ordered this having changed the 3 lights in my bathroom to LED. It does what it says it will do. My only criticism being that, as stated by other reviewers, the terminals are very small and not particularly robust. Don't let that put you off though. It is possible to connect cable or flex neatly and securely with care. Recommended.

5 Star Rating I like it
By: MrTickle, on January 17, 2018
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Really nice little LED driver, works great, it's currently running 10x4w DC bulbs without a problem. One little note - the wiring points are close together on both sides, so if you have some thick "multi strand" braided wires - you have to be extremely careful not to have any loose as any stray strands will easily touch and potentially short circuit. Other than that - can recommend it!

1 Star Rating Avoid - nasty terminal connectors
By: Dr. GDG Riddy, on December 14, 2017
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Avoid. Although it works OK as an LED transformer, its a poor design. the terminal connectors that the mains and 12v wires are inserted into are far too close together, its fiddly to insert, and its far too easy for wires to touch. There's other stuff available at a slightly higher price.

"Good value and perfect match for the SMD 3528 300 LED strips.
and complete with connector and adaptor for loose wire connection.
The usual prompt service and delivery.

4 Star Rating Good little PSU with steady power delivery.
    By: Pentest_UK, on August 12, 2017
    Pros:
    Cons:

"The little socket connector didn't come in the box with mine. But the PSU is just fine. I cut the plug off and wired it directly to the project I was using it for so no great shakes, but -1* for the missing plug.

5 Star Rating What a transformation.
    By: G. Scott, on July 30, 2016
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Three LED downlighters in my bathroom, rated at 6 watts. Total 18 watts. All run off ONE transformer. Not like the previous incandescent lamps, which needed one transformer each. I have used two of these transformers in my kitchen, since there are 4 LED lamps. That would have made 24 watts. I don't believe in running something, at or close to it's limits.
